Vanessa McGrath is an experienced and talented colorist and educator in the hair industry. With a passion for her craft, she began her apprenticeship under British-trained color specialists in 1989. Throughout her career, Vanessa has worked in renowned departmentalized salons such as John Freida and Sally Hershberger, honing her skills and expanding her knowledge.

Her expertise has been recognized and showcased in various mediums, including films, television, and campaign ads for hair product lines. In 2014, Vanessa embarked on a new chapter in her career, joining forces with her collaborator, Tamara Perry, to establish the Perry McGrath Salon in the vibrant city of Los Angeles.

At Perry McGrath Salon, Vanessa brings her wealth of experience and artistic vision to create stunning hair transformations for her clients. With her dedication to staying updated on the latest trends and techniques, she ensures that every client receives exceptional service and achieves their desired look.

Attention to detail and precision cutting techniques are at the heart of Jeannie's forward ­thinking hairdressing.

By combining experience from her degree in Fashion Design with her years at the acclaimed Art + Science salon in Chicago, Jeannie bridges the gap between casual function and inspired trends.

Now calling Los Angeles her home, Jeannie continues with advanced education at the Vidal Sassoon Academy and freelance editorial styling. Jeannie tailors each style to her client’s lifestyle and fashion sense. With easy maintenance as key, she ensures that each cut she crafts is effortlessly chic. In 2019, Jeannie became partners with Tamara Perry and Vanessa McGrath.

Native to St. Paul, Minnesota, Aaron Bock moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to attend the prestigious Sassoon Academy where he immediately took to precision haircutting. After graduating, he continued his training with Sassoon in both their Beverly Hills and London locations. He subsequently went on to master his craft in a number of reputable salons, including the Fred Segal Salon, and Nine Zero One, where he grew his knowledge of cutting curly textures and further cultivated his talents as a colorist.

Aaron is meticulous in his work, and sees each cut and color as a collaborative exercise between the client and himself. From geometric haircuts with bold tones to long layered cuts with subtle, sun-kissed highlights, his attention to detail and passion for creating the perfect look are apparent in each of his efforts.

Jared Jackson Dean is a Los Angeles native who built his reputation in the beauty industry as one of DTLA’s top salon professional. From owning (3) hair salons and traveling to beauty schools advocating the success found as a hairstylist, Jared prides his business on building solid relationships and refining his skills through education.

Jared has a bespoke and trend-like style to styling hair, complimenting the clients lifestyle. Jared’s signature hair-colors are found in a collection of editorial photos and social media. Her philosophy revolves around the idea that your hair should effortlessly work for you, saving you from unnecessary hassle. With a deep commitment to authenticity and self-expression, April is dedicated to bringing out the inherent beauty in each individual's hair, leaving them feeling confident and at ease with themselves. Lauren Pass graduated from the Vidal Sassoon Academy/Santa Monica in 2000 then continued her education at Planet Salon in Beverly Hills. During her five years at Planet, Pass perfected the Aveda cutting & styling technique.

In addition to cutting hair, Pass is well trained in hair extensions, event hair and makeup. She has styled for editorial work and award ceremony hair & makeup including the Academy Awards, Emmy's and the Golden Globes.

Originally from Phoenix Arizona, Amelia Sellers now calls Los Angeles her long-time home. Graduating from Cosmetology school in 2013,  she furthered her education by completing courses with Vidal Sassoon, Wella and American Crew. 

Now a specialist in razor-cutting, Amelia has cultivated her techniques by learning from some of the greats in the industry. She’s advanced her education with Jayne Matthews, Margeaux Hamrock, and Corinna Hernandez. 

Amelia’s career in hair-cutting began with a strong foundation in men’s grooming and barbering. Wanting to expand her clientele, she focused on longer hairstyles. With a penchant for 60s, 70s, and 80s music, her style became inspired by the musical icons of the time. 

This ultimately led Amelia to mastering the technique of wielding a razor, creating vintage-inspired, classic haircuts. Although the razor is her favorite tool, she blends and draws from her wide-range of education to carefully craft haircuts uniquely tailored to each client.

Amelia believes that a great haircut starts with a great consultation. She dedicates the time to listen to questions and/or concerns one may have regarding their hair. After all, a great haircut has a true effect on how we feel about ourselves, therefore, how we show up in the world.

Growing up in the Southern California area has given me the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people. This has earned my position as a Master-Stylist in the industry. I view every head of hair as a different pallet. My goal is to create something unique which is tailored to each individual.

My passion for creative design and color theory allows me to make my clients feel the best version of themselves. I truly believe the most compelling thing you can wear is your confidence.
